The M1S2 (Series II) introduces a fresh design and upgraded features to the M1 series, succeeding the legacy M1SE model. This new version reflects Bricasti Design’s extensive expertise in high-precision D/A engineering, optimized for audio purists. Focused on simplicity and performance, the M1S2 features the latest MDx processor, high-current twin linear power supplies with larger performance capacitors, and a robust, handcrafted chassis milled from solid aluminum. With a taller profile than its predecessor, the M1S2 also includes upgraded Stillpoints feet as standard, setting new performance benchmarks for the series.

The optional VC Analog Volume Control card equips the Bricasti M1 Classic and M1 Series II DACs with a precision, fully analog volume control in place of digital attenuation.
This upgrade preserves resolution and dynamic range at all listening levels, allowing the DAC to function as a true control center and connect directly to a power amplifier without the need for an external preamplifier.
I2S: PURE
PERFORMANCE
The M19 Reference SACD/CD Transport features our proprietary I2S digital output, designed exclusively for Bricasti DACs. This creates a direct, reference signal traditionally used internally board-to-board. The I2S input is available as an option on all new Bricasti DACs and can be added as an upgrade for existing models.
