The Bricasti M228 stereo amplifier was designed to deliver, within a single chassis, the same performance as two M28 mono amplifiers, with no compromise. It offers an exceptionally pure and precisely controlled current reserve. The handcrafted expression embodied in this deep cabinet effortlessly delivers the immense current required to drive and control any loudspeaker through the most demanding musical passages. The sought-after and often elusive listening experience is immediately apparent.
The M228 is conservatively rated at 200 watts per channel into an 8-ohm load, with a flat frequency response and negligible distortion, as expected. Low-frequency performance is fast and articulate, even at the loudspeaker’s resonance peak.

ONE PRESENCE
A completely balanced differential design reduces stress on all internal parts of the M228 amplifier. When combined with the balanced layout of the Bricasti digital-to-analog converters, the M228 establishes a fully balanced differential signal path from source to loudspeaker.
