Trusted by professional recording studios worldwide, Bricasti products are chosen for their outstanding audio performance and proprietary technologies.
DUAL MONO
MASTERPIECE
The M1 digital-to-analog converter features a true dual-mono design, with two completely isolated channels, each powered by its own dedicated linear supply, D/A converter, DDS clock, and analog circuitry. This approach virtually eliminates analog crosstalk, ensuring optimal, independent power delivery for each channel. Digital processing is also isolated, supported by its dedicated power supply.
DIGITAL
PURITY
With the M1’s twin DAC design, the dynamic range of each channel is optimized by operating the stereo ADI 1955 D/A converter in a mono configuration. The M1 also incorporates Bricasti’s proprietary filter technology, setting new standards for what is achievable in a modern reference D/A converter.
PURE
SIGNAL
The M1 utilizes Bricasti Design’s latest proprietary MDx digital platform, advanced clocking algorithms, and filter technology to deliver exceptional performance without the need for sample rate converters, thereby preserving native signals. The digital section is paired with a pristine analog path, focused on delivering the truest possible representation of tonality, precision, and dimension.
FEATURES
MDX OS
PROCESSOR
The Bricasti MDx digital processor marks a major advancement, built on a proprietary platform developed over years of research. It enhances our entire range of digital-to-analog converters, offering greater timing accuracy, improved master clocking, and enhanced network performance. The MDx also supports DSD256 over USB.
OPTIONS
Network Player
The optional Network player offers one of the most sonically advantages avenues for audio playback created in the last decade, with pristine data transmission over long distances, without loss of signal or degradation from cable runs. This means your server can be located anywhere on the network rather than in your listening space, creating a clutter-free listening environment and ground-breaking performance.
VC ANALOG
VOLUME CONTROL
The optional VC Analog Volume Control card equips the Bricasti M1 and M1 Series II DACs with a precision, fully analog volume control in place of digital attenuation.
This upgrade preserves resolution and dynamic range at all listening levels, allowing the DAC to function as a true control center and connect directly to a power amplifier without the need for an external preamplifier.
I2S: Pure
PERFORMANCE
The M19 Reference SACD/CD Transport features our proprietary I2S digital output, designed exclusively for Bricasti DACs. This creates a direct, reference signal traditionally used internally board-to-board. The I2S input is available as an option on all new Bricasti DACs and can be added as an upgrade for existing models.
Handcrafted in the USA
All of our products are crafted in the old world tradition, in a classic brick mill building in Massachusetts USA by a team of individuals dedicated to excellence.
