The M21 Stereo DAC represents the trifecta of digital-to-analog conversion. It offers three independent, user-selectable signal paths: a Delta-Sigma DAC and an R-2R ladder DAC for PCM conversion, along with a true direct 1-bit DSD analog converter. All current digital input types are supported, with the option for direct output or hard-wire bypass of the analog attenuator.

THE POWER OF THREE
The M21’s advanced architecture allows users to select, evaluate, and enjoy three independent digital-to-analog converter (DAC) paths: a 24-bit Delta-Sigma DAC, a 20-bit R-2R ladder DAC, and a true 1-bit DSD output for Direct Stream Digital content. The inclusion of Bricasti Design’s high-performance MDx processor ensures maximum fidelity and exceptional performance across all formats.

Precise analog gain control in the M21 enables the effective implementation of direct DSD functionality while supporting amplification. A hard-wire bypass analog attenuator allows direct connection to an external preamp when set to 0dB, providing additional integration options. This feature-rich design ensures the M21 can adapt seamlessly to a wide range of system configurations.

Its fully differential design minimizes resistance in the output signal path, ensuring optimal signal integrity. I2S: PURE
PERFORMANCE
The M19 Reference SACD/CD Transport features our proprietary I2S digital output, designed exclusively for Bricasti DACs. This creates a direct, reference signal traditionally used internally board-to-board. The I2S input is available as an option on all new Bricasti DACs and can be added as an upgrade for existing models.
